There was an #iptables channel on freenode for a long time that was=20
invite-only.  Long-story-short, I got the freenode folks to let me reregi=
ster=20
it since it wasn't even being used.  Freenode is, I think, the appropriat=
e=20
place for such a channel.  If there is already an 'official' iptables sup=
port=20
channel, please let me know.  Else, let me invite you all to #iptables on=
=20
irc.freenode.net.  People pop in all the time, and pop back out because I=
'm=20
usually the only one there.  Hopefully it will become a useful forum if=20
people join and stay a while.

Again, please inform me and disregard if there is already such a channel.

ps.  If anyone involved with iptables or netfilter would like to claim=20
ownership of the channel, just let me know.  Freenode will give it to you=
=20
anyway, but it might be smoother if we do it this way.
