 I have installed LVM and kernel = patch on a=20 Linux box which contains 3ware RAID controller ,1.2Tera of IDEs, = 1024MB=20 RAM. I have created 3 Logical volumes of each 50GB and for each LV = created 3=20 snaps of same size.
 
 But when every I am dumping data = in a large=20 extend to the LVs the system is getting very slow and hangs for some=20 times.
 then I have deleted all the = snapshots what=20 ever I have created then it works fine.
 is any problem with snapshots? or = LVM patch?=20 or LVM ?..please help me.

That is, if your LV are 50 GB long, and there is no much write activity on them, snapshots of just a couple of GB (or even less) should be perfectly reasonable for your setup.
