Hi,
I have some question regarding the Unicode policy of filenames in filesystem,
especially ReiserFS.
Are filenames stored in UTF-8?
Should they be stored in UTF-8?
Is it a question of the filesystem?
Is it the applications job to interpret it?
Or is the filesystem encoding independent?
Are there migration plans to Unicode?
Any feedback is very appreciated.
Many greetings,
- --
