I'm sure a lot of subscribers to the list would volunteer to
approve/disaprove postings marked as possible spam. I should wouldn't
mind using a few minutes a week if it would help.

Moving the list to sourceforge or another simular service may be useful
to reduce the amount of systemadministration.
