Subject: _INI and _REG?
Date: Fri, 16 Jan 2004 10:36:29 -0800 (PST)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20040116103401.T76645@root.org> (raw)

Does ACPI-CA call _INI on ThermalZone objects? I found a ThermalZone with
an _INI method, which I hadn't seen before.

Does it call _REG on Device objects or is that up to the OS? The EC on
this system has a _REG object that appears to affect behavior.

Finally, does anyone have a Gateway 400 SD4 with working fans?

Thanks,
Nate
