Date: Sat, 20 Mar 2004 19:33:25 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200403201933.25881.dymony66@ono.com> (raw)
hi
i need to overclock my processor (or waste 2much money in new hw)
i have a p3-800, and can get it to 852 with no problems, but with more than
852 my installed kernel doesnt boot, stops after 'booting kernel...', i know
it can boot, because with knoppix or the installation cd it boots perfectly,
and /proc/cpuinfo shows the 'more than 852' cpu speed
hope someone can help
cu
