hi,

I still dont use 2.6 and udev ... is it ready for use by servers...
I'm happy with my current 2.4 servers...and I want to know will
using 2.6&udev will give me some benefits on network (tcp/ip) oriented
server, I mean :

QoS (tc, HTB), ip route, iptables server...

most of the reviews of 2.6 expose advances in VM,FS etc...
at least when comparing the speed and scalability ...
BUT I'm interested in its NETWORK PEROFORMANCE ..

can u give me some clue is it worthfull to step to 2.6..
Also is there any quircks .

Some links to tests .

tia
