Subject: no power management for athlon xp
Date: Fri, 21 May 2004 02:15:45 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20040521001545.GA8635@lan> (raw)

hi
i have an athlon XP barton 2600+ on abit NF7S v2 (nforce 2, award bios)
latest kernel, ACPI 20040326
i see:

Axis root # cat /proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/info
processor id: 0
acpi id: 0
bus mastering control: no
power management: no
throttling control: no
limit interface: no

Axis root # dmesg | grep Processor
ACPI: Processor [CPU0] (supports C1)

so power management is not supported.
it's normal or i can do something for adding the C2 mode support?
thanks
