Subject: [Qemu-devel] Debian SID installation - IDE multimode problem
Date: Wed, 16 Jun 2004 22:32:27 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200406162232.27615.jm@poure.com> (raw)
Dear friends,
I fetched the latest Debian new installer from :
http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/sid_d-i/i386/20040615/sarge-i386-netinst.iso
and entered "linux26" at the prompt to install a Debian SID with 2.6.5 kernel.
Everything seemed to work fine until I rebooted. The message
"set_multmode: status set 0x41 DriveReady error" indicates an IDE multimode
problem.
Do you know what it means?
Best regards, Jean-Michel
