I've got an Amilo D 7830 myself, but I only have 2.6.7 vanilla without any further patches. The DSDT should be unaware of kernel version and all in all the DSDT of my Amilo D works well. The only workaround I need is having OS to report bewing Windows NT instead of Linux to get the interrupts working . I don't know why /proc/acpi won't be mounted with your configuration, but it might be as a cause of the error you get. Thermal Zone basically give the same characteristics on my systems as yours - it's not supported. How you managed to read out the values you refered to without /proc/acpi is a mystery.. It would certainly be helpful to know what kind of CPU your system is equipped with. --=20 =D8ystein Gisn=E5s NTNU, Department of Telematics Mob: (+47) 98861515 - MSN: oysteing-PkbjNfxxIARBDgjK7y7TUQ@public.gmane.org ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
