Date: Wed, 8 Sep 2004 23:34:21 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200409082334.21305.n.manel@free.fr> (raw)

Hello
My Laptop is a acer 1682.
I'm running under an unstable debian.
I have compiled a 2.6.8.1, I had patched with the last 2.6.8 patch.
I had actived every ACPI options.
But directorys /proc/acpi/battery and /proc/acpi/ac_adaptor are empty. And
Even KDE says they are missing.
This is a quote of dmesg :

"
acpiphp: ACPI Hot Plug PCI Controller Driver version: 0.4
ACPI: Power Button (FF) [PWRF]
ACPI: Lid Switch [LID]
ACPI: Sleep Button (CM) [SLPB]
ACPI: Fan [FAN0] (off)
ACPI: Fan [FAN1] (off)
ACPI: Processor [CPU0] (supports C1 C2 C3, 8 throttling states)
ACPI: Thermal Zone [THRM] (52 C)
hw_random: RNG not detected
"

Do you have an idea ?
Thanks
