Yes, I can't get a 64-bit kernel to work. gcc 3.4 compiled kernels stop before the console is initialised; gcc 3.3 compiled kernels boot to the point of displaying a login prompt, but refuse ssh connections and input on console. Other people have functional 64-bit kernels compiled with gcc 3.3, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. -- "Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception." -- Mark Twain _______________________________________________ parisc-linux mailing list parisc-linux@lists.parisc-linux.org http://lists.parisc-linux.org/mailman/listinfo/parisc-linux
