My problems are: - booting nmi_watchdog=1 results in an error "nmi appears to be stuck" - booting nmi_watchdog=2 is ok, gives an NMI count in /proc/interrupts but is otherwise non-functional. Doing iopl(3);while (1) asm("cli"); locks the machine forever (not really: just another watchdog hits after some time) I used several 2.6.x-kernels - vanilla and -mm - all with the same results. Any ideas? What information is needed to track the problem? -jo -- -rw-r--r-- 1 jo users 63 2004-10-27 17:34 /home/jo/.signature
