Subject: ata_piix slow in 2.4.27?
Date: Mon, 8 Nov 2004 14:59:38 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200411081459.38914.bart@dct-mail.com> (raw)
Hi!
I'm trying to setup a Dell Poweredge machine, but i'm getting very low
throughput on the ata_piix drivers, of approx. 4 MB per second.. I tried
downloading and compiling the drivers that Dell provides ( for RHEL3, even if
this machine isn't a redhat.. ) But it fails to compile with this error:

Does anybody know why the driver is so slow in .27? Maybe somebody has some
patches available to fix this? :)
Could it be possible to CC me too, since i'm not on this mailinglist...
Thanks in advance!
