Subject: [RFC][AGPGART]Allow multiple backends to be initialized
Date: Mon, 6 Dec 2004 17:40:52 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200412061740.52337.werner@sgi.com> (raw)

This is a patch which extends the agpgart backend API to address
multiple bridges and allows them to be initialized.
I have corresponding patches for drm and some video drivers which use agpgart
so that they will continue to work with the default agp_bridge.
I can send those changes as 2 separate patches later.
The purpose is only for the api changes to generic code.

# This is a BitKeeper generated diff -Nru style patch.
#
# Allow multiple agpgart backends to be initialized and addressed.
# The semantics of agp_backend_acquire has been extended to allow
# addressing the default agp bridge or a specific bridge described
# by a struct agp_bridge_data.
#
