Hello!

I was wrong, found a new BIOS on

http://www.asrock.com.tw/support/download/dl_k7vm2.htm#bios

which I didn't see the first time.

Now it works fine.

So if one with a ASRock Mainboard an Promise Controller asks again,
tell him/her to update to 1.90 Bios.

Thanks for all the help and support messages I recieved, keep on
doing such a good job!

Greetings,

Nico

P.S.: Are you interested in debugging a ECS Mainboard with Transmeta
Crueso on it? I own a ECS A530 notebook, which has ACPI, but does
      not
      - blank screen (x does, console not)
      - support ACPI sleep states (or at least panics after them)
      - ...
If so, I would subscribe the acpi list and give you more details
      about it.
