Subject: About a-linux (asmutils mini-distribution)
Date: Fri, 28 Oct 2005 12:04:21 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20051028100421.GA30103@qwerty.be> (raw)

Hello,

I have recently downloaded a-linux, the asmutils single-floppy
mini-distribution <http://asm.sourceforge.net/asmutils.html>. And I must
admit that I'm very impressed :-)

I have costumized this floppy (kernel that supports my network-card for
example). And it works great on a 386sx 16Mhz 5MB with just a floppy,
CDROM-drive, VGA-card and network-card. The asmutils httpd web-server
can now without problems serve web-pages that are burned on a CD-ROM.

Thanks everybody for this great software!

However, I have some questions ;-)

- When I read the ChangeLog
<http://asm.sourceforge.net/asmutils/ChangeLog>, I see that there are
some new versions of some programs (20-Jan-2004). Which are not
released yet. Can I download them somewhere?
- Is there somewhere a little tool available written is asm which I can
use to set the default gateway (route add default gateway)? At the
moment I use busybox for that <http://www.busybox.net/>.
