The LinuxICC project (http://linuxicc.sf.net) builds the kernel with Intel's C compiler and logs and categorizes some more useful warnings not present in GCC. Also by the same developer, is LinuxCPD, the Linux copy and paste detection program (http://linuxcpd.sf.net). He uses Red Hill consulting's Simian analyzer to locate copy+pasted code in the kernel, which could be consolodated, or could contain errors without careful checking. -- Gabriel A.
