I had to do the install a few times, but after doing a "rpm -iv --nodeps ..." to keep it from complaning that it didn't have the right version of perl-bootloader it seems to work. So I can have my packet base station back, YEAH!!!! I'll keep every one up to date on this if I find any problems with running this non-distro stander kernel.
