Using 2.6.18-rc4 and CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_AHCI=m, fails to detect ide cdrom.

lspci

and from dmesg|grep -i ide

If i modprobe ahci dmesg shows:

The BIOS sees the CDROM but it is not detected by ide driver.
