Thanks.  I resent the patchset and it should apply cleanly to changeset:
11134:ec03b24a2d83.  Let me know if you still see the slow-down running
xm top.

I've got one more change to PATCH3 to work out; I'll send that one in
tomorrow but I wanted to give you a set that would apply against tip to
test.
