Subject: [Bluez-users] Logitech Traveler Headset. pin never seen and i am never asked.
Date: Wed, 23 Aug 2006 22:05:01 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200608232205.01719.Linux@feline-soul.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1597.216.47.59.131.1156371924.squirrel@webmail.feline-soul.net>

Folks,

It seems like this is the same old problem that has been plaguing me for a
month now. I need to feed this headset a pin of 0000 and i am NEVER asked for
a pin no matter what i put into the config file.

The following lines are pertainant:
security user;
# Default PIN code for incoming connections
        #passkey "0000";
     #pin_helper /etc/bluetooth/pin_script;
        pin_helper /usr/lib/kdebluetooth/kbluepin;
If i set security to auto it and set make the passkey uncommented it does not
work. No pin script runs and /etc/bluetooth/passkeys/00:0D:44:4F:37:72
and /etc/bluetooth/passkeys/default are never looked at.

What can i do? What can i provide?
