The file drivers/hwmon/w83627ehf.c did not change between rc4 and rc6,
so if the patch applied to rc4 it should apply fine to rc6 as well. I
guess you messed up somewhere... Please retry.

I confirm it won't work on Suse's 2.6.16, as the driver had a big
update in 2.6.17 and once more in 2.6.18-rc1.
