Subject: [linux-lvm] Orphaned Volume
Date: Thu, 19 Oct 2006 12:19:16 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200610191219.18710.martin.wilmes@java-cup.de> (raw)

Hi,

what does it mean, when a physical volume is listed as orphaned?

      /dev/hda2: lvm2 label detected
        lvmcache: /dev/hda2: now orphaned

What can I do with an orphaned volume?

I didn't find any hints in the docu, I hope I didn't overlook it.

Regards
Martin
