Subject: 2.6.18.2: BUG: soft lockup detected on CPU#1!
Date: Mon, 13 Nov 2006 10:01:02 +1100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20061112230102.GA3155@zip.com.au> (raw)
I got the following BUG output whilst doing mke2fs on a Dell 2950
with a Woodcrest 5130 CPU, 4GB RAM and a megaraid SAS RAID card. The
kernel is compiled for emt64 and is monolithic (no modules). Below is
the full dmesg since bootup. A few debuggy things as I've not settled
on a final config for the box so if anyone needs any testing done I can
actually do stuff to it as it's not in production yet.
Oh. I was using the server via the DRAC card with serial over lan (so
console via serial).
