Sorry for my late response. Personally, I think it is a good idea to port GRUB
2 to Xen. Xen is just a firmware from GRUB's point of view, so it should not
be very difficult to do.
In addition, I would like to see GRUB 2 ported to more platforms, such as
LinuxBIOS as well as Xen.
