However it seems that it is so slow that it is basically not operational. Also, the installation never really finished. Question: 1. how do I know when kvm is using hardware virtualization (the only useful operational mode?) 2. how can I get kvm going given my setup? I tried kvm-16 on the 2.6.20-14 kernel. that compiled and installed ok Upon starting qemu no complaints about version being too old but it was slooooow (this is dual core 1.66GHz) greetings Eildert -- Eildert Groeneveld =================================================== Institute for Animal Breeding Mariensee 31535 Neustadt Germany Tel : (+49)(0)5034 871155 Fax : (+49)(0)5034 871239 e-mail: eildert.groeneveld-mbE8gMShV9A@public.gmane.org http://vce.tzv.fal.de/index.pl http://www.tzv.fal.de/~eg/ http://apiis.tzv.fal.de/index.pl =================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
