What specific webcam does not work?  There are zillions of them, so you
might want to contact the video-for-linux developers, they are the ones
working on adding support to the kernel for a wide range of them.

However I am currently working on adding screen-reader support to the
kernel, so if you have questions about that, feel free to contact me
off-list for that.
