I thought put in stage2.c. What do you think? That was for GRUB 2, which is the only version in development right now. For GRUB Legacy it'd be a bit more complicated I think. In init.c / grub_machine_init; you want to do that after heap has been initialized, so that grub_env_set() will have an effect. -- Robert Millan I know my rights; I want my phone call!
