Subject: [RFC patch 13/27] Add text_poke and sync_core to powerpc
Date: Wed, 16 Apr 2008 17:34:39 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20080416213552.107703724@polymtl.ca> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20080416213426.298498397@polymtl.ca
[-- Attachment #1: add-text-poke-and-sync-core-to-powerpc.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 1461 bytes --]
- Needed on architectures where we must surround live instruction modification
with "WP flag disable".
- Turns into a memcpy on powerpc since there is no WP flag activated for
instruction pages (yet..).
- Add empty sync_core to powerpc so it can be used in architecture independent
code.
