I'd say no ... the bugfixes should go into 2.6.27,
but your GPIO CS stuff is a feature/cleanup change
so it's not a candidate for 2.6.27 (or 2.6.27.1 etc).

As you saw in my comments. But the main thing is
that his chipselect-related bugfixes conflicted
with your new feature code. :)
