In stubdom/Makefile I found this line:

GCC_INSTALL =3D $(shell LANG=3DC gcc -print-search-dirs | sed -n -e 's/inst=
all:=20
\(.*\)/\1/p')

# gcc -print-search-dirs
programs: =3D/usr/libexec/
libraries: =3D/usr/lib/
#

the sed expression empties GCC_INSTALL then.
