Previously I used ndiswrapper to use the windows driver and that worked perfectly. However, with the native linux driver, when I use wpa_supplicant to connect, it does connect and I can use dhcp to get an ip address(the ip address seems to be right and I get dns information). However, I cannot ping the router or any other computer on the network. Also, I cannot connect to the internet. > > What could I do to resolve the issue? What logs should I post? Do you have Network Manager running? If so please see: http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Reporting_bugs To help debug I'd recommend to use wpa_supplicant manually and make sure NM or another instance of wpa_supplicant is running. Please provide the kernel log after ath9k module gets loaded until you ping and do not see anything come back. Luis
