Subject: Nested SVM patches usage
Date: Fri, 5 Dec 2008 11:47:49 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20081205094749.GC22901@chub.in> (raw)

Hello, all.

I want to use the patches [1]
written by Alexander Graf,
that, AFAIU, add to KVM possibility to create
nested KVM-machines
(in case it is running on AMD CPU with SVM-support).

I have several stupid questions about this.

My questions:
1. What is the best way to download these and similar patches?
I cut-and-paste them from mail-list archive but I understand
that there should be a better way.

2. To what version of KVM I should apply the patches?
Is there universal method to find for what version
of kvm a patch is suited?

Please, help me to find the answers.

Thank you for any answers.

I understand that my questions are general,
so they should be covered in some doc.
If you could send me any useful link,
I would be thankful too.
