Subject: [PATCH Linux 2.6.31] Add hugepage support to the balloon driver
Date: Wed, 28 Oct 2009 10:44:14 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200910281044.15057.dcm@mccr.org> (raw)
[-- Attachment #1: Type: Text/Plain, Size: 339 bytes --]
This patch adds a boot command line switch "balloon_hugepages" that makes the
balloon driver work entirely in hugepages.
This version of the code checks to make sure each page is contiguous at the
machine level. If it is not, it frees each page individually. When the huge
page is reallocated it will be contiguous.
