Subject: [Qemu-devel] Fedora9-32/64 dvd boot broken
Date: Tue, 10 Nov 2009 13:18:24 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20091110191824.GF11154@us.ibm.com> (raw)

Tip is broken booting a Fedora 9 DVD.

Host: Fedora 11 x86_64

configured with:
./configure --target-list=x86_64-softmmu --prefix=/usr/local/qemu-regression

Guest run with:
qemu-system-x86_64 -name 'vm1' -monitor stdio \
                  -drive file=fc9-32.qcow2,if=ide,cache=writeback \
                  -net nic,vlan=0,macaddr=52:54:00:12:34:56 \
                  -net user,vlan=0 -m 512 -cdrom Fedora-9-i386-DVD.iso \
                  -enable-kvm -vnc :2

Before the below commit, DVD boot screen shows up fine in vnc, after
this commit, you only see a black screen. Appending -bios pcbios.bin
fixes it as well (even on tip).

Git bisect says this commit broke it
