Subject: [dm-crypt] Move from basic dm-crypt to LUKS
Date: Thu, 17 Jun 2010 19:02:21 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20100617170221.GB6305@lib.inittab.org> (raw)

Hi all,

I created a plain dm-crypt mapping on my laptop HD, when (later) I found
I actually wanted a LUKS one. I know [1] I cannot migrate from
no-encryption to LUKS (without backup/restore). But can I move my basic
dm-crypt partition to use LUKS, or am I doomed to backup/restore?

Thanks,

Alberto
