Subject: [PATCH 2/7] trace: Reorder struct ring_buffer_per_cpu to remove padding on 64bit
Date: Thu, 22 Jul 2010 16:24:13 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20100722202452.515464451@goodmis.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20100722202411.920807480@goodmis.org

[-- Attachment #1: 0002-trace-Reorder-struct-ring_buffer_per_cpu-to-remove-p.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 1093 bytes --]

From: Richard Kennedy <richard@rsk.demon.co.uk>

Reorder structure to remove 8 bytes of padding on 64 bit builds.
This shrinks the size to 128 bytes so allowing allocation from a smaller
slab & needed one fewer cache lines.
