Subject: + kernelh-add-minmax3-macros.patch added to -mm tree
Date: Thu, 19 Aug 2010 16:14:31 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <201008192314.o7JNEVvk014123@imap1.linux-foundation.org> (raw)

The patch titled
     kernel.h: add {min,max}3 macros
has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is
     kernelh-add-minmax3-macros.patch

Before you just go and hit "reply", please:
   a) Consider who else should be cc'ed
   b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well
   c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a
reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's

*** Remember to use Documentation/SubmitChecklist when testing your code ***

See http://userweb.kernel.org/~akpm/stuff/added-to-mm.txt to find
out what to do about this

The current -mm tree may be found at http://userweb.kernel.org/~akpm/mmotm/

Subject: kernel.h: add {min,max}3 macros
From: Hagen Paul Pfeifer <hagen@jauu.net>

Introduce two additional min/max macros to compare three operands. This
will save some cycles as well as some bytes on the stack and last but not
least more pleasing as macro nesting.
