Unfortunately neither of those is very specific to a particular
notebook vendor/product. If nothing else helps, we can commit that,
but before that, can I ask you to give us the output of

  grep . /sys/class/dmi/id/*

? Perhaps there are some other fields there which are a bit less
sloppy.
