Subject: [isci PATCH v3 2/4] libsas: drop sata port multiplier infrastructure
Date: Wed, 14 Mar 2012 00:13:58 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20120314071358.7223.50016.stgit@dwillia2-linux.jf.intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20120314071312.7223.10946.stgit@dwillia2-linux.jf.intel.com>
On the way to add a new sata_device field, noticed that libsas is
carrying port multiplier infrastructure that is explicitly disabled by
sas_discover_sata(). The aic94xx touches the unused port_no, so leave
that field in case there was some use for it.
