One cannot assume that the Windows 7 bootmgr files are stored on a partition that is different from the Windows 7 system files. If there is no existing primary partition on the boot drive that contains the bootmgr files, and if the installer is directed to install to an existing primary partition on that same boot drive, then the bootmgr files and the system files will both be installed to that existing partition. -- Jeffrey Sheinberg From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 Received: from list by lists.gnu.org with archive (Exim 4.71) id 1SN4co-0005oG-Qg for mharc-grub-devel@gnu.org; Wed, 25 Apr 2012 11:59:26 -0400 Received: from eggs.gnu.org ([208.118.235.92]:55844) by lists.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.71) (envelope-from ) id 1SN4ci-0005lf-CF for grub-devel@gnu.org; Wed, 25 Apr 2012 11:59:25 -0400 Received: from Debian-exim by eggs.gnu.org with spam-scanned (Exim 4.71) (envelope-from ) id 1SN4cc-0005f6-7c for grub-devel@gnu.org; Wed, 25 Apr 2012 11:59:19 -0400 Received: from mail-qa0-f41.google.com ([209.85.216.41]:62791) by eggs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.71) (envelope-from ) id 1SN4cc-0005et-12 for grub-devel@gnu.org; Wed, 25 Apr 2012 11:59:14 -0400 Received: by qabg27 with SMTP id g27so1535423qab.0 for ; Wed, 25 Apr 2012 08:59:11 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20120113; h=sender:from:resent-from:resent-date:resent-message-id:resent-to :date:to:subject:message-id:mail-followup-to:references:mime-version :content-type:content-disposition:in-reply-to:user-agent; bh=/rVZBq9kmZfLOB5TC6/eYO36R47oJugwRvgg5redSwM=; b=D8kpS/gXRIeMT7jk+cljwgqDL7H0TYZDNgrdnxFAwFhGdRkfy6Z2k0lmTIrWafw/Ej pzf04NWCg9EyL56dKP5G7KeaC1ys93mGLOJDpREUZwPwpo4sbZzZIrBoKlUvMrEPasmr rsrZknGOpEWVDC2amRVs1ovXA1KlWRiR9sERRiDDH8aaNwhNQ09kMjuHFOJbnQhEYTJV bIK7DLIk0ZTsOLjb7IEtrSAm4YrCvaQ+qtN+5mHySgBiMJC8gUiQ/IX5/pglyw2o23PN naxhZyTk+IYpDB/qJRIkAUNbLm3Bbq7vC2vD43jmkihfF24WEogEpBA89wAnqcFbSYKp KpLg== Received: by 10.224.179.201 with SMTP id br9mr2571449qab.34.1335369551497; Wed, 25 Apr 2012 08:59:11 -0700 (PDT) Received: from l2.bsrd.net (pool-96-246-16-16.nycmny.fios.verizon.net.
