Subject: [BAD PATCH] saa7134: Add AverMedia Satelllite Hybrid+FM A706
Date: Thu, 10 Jan 2013 23:52:04 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <201301102352.05187.linux@rainbow-software.org> (raw)
Hello,
this is a bad test patch that adds support for AverMedia Satelllite Hybrid+FM
A706 cards to saa7134.
Working: analog video inputs (composite, s-vhs, analog TV), analog sound
inputs (cinch, TV), analog TV tuner, remote control
Partially working: FM radio - it tunes but detunes to noise after a moment
(might be a bug in tda18271 driver?)
GPIO11 controls 74HC4052 MUX - it's enabled for radio and disabled for TV
in Windows - I did the same and it did not change anything
Untested: DVB-S
There is a hack (added "return 0" lines) to disable tda8290 i2c gate.
Is there a way to do this properly?
