Yes. Better safe than sorry.

Changing to BSD could be a problem, as re-licensing would require an
ack from the original contributors, except if the license is a compatible
one. Collecting everyone's ack on such change could be painful, and for
no good reason.
So, to make it simpler, I would just use the LGPL.
