I do not understand why it needed. The method I'd offered is in full accordance with the 802.11 standard (and FCC I think) until CCA mechanism is not shut down. But I agree what this kind of flood generator is terrible in the air. Hi John, I'd asked our RF engeneers who do FCC sertification tests. They agree - SA power measurements are complex, slow and imprecise. But this methods is defined by FCC specifications. Best regards, Alex.
