Just an idea:
Maybe that (and I think also seabios) could deserve more attention.
Right now a 'git clean -dfx' leaves the qemu trees around, but things
like ipxe will be downloaded again. Maybe ipxe should be cloned just
like qemu* so it survives a 'wipe everything'?
