did you mean:

-- attrs that are currently RW will eventually turn into WO. attr show()
   will be done by [mm|io]_stat file.

-- attrs that are currently RO will be removed. attr show() will be
   done by [mm|io]_stat file.

?

so, iow, rather than removing all duplicated attrs we remove only RO attrs
and keep previously RW attrs in write-only mode.
