Subject: [PATCH RT 09/39] rtmutex: Cleanup deadlock detector debug logic
Date: Thu, 12 Mar 2015 15:13:16 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20150312191408.597979626@goodmis.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20150312191307.081068717@goodmis.org
[-- Attachment #1: 0009-rtmutex-Cleanup-deadlock-detector-debug-logic.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 12551 bytes --]
3.14.34-rt32-rc1 stable review patch.
If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>
upstream commit: 8930ed80f970a90a795239e7415c9b0e6f964649
The conditions under which deadlock detection is conducted are unclear
and undocumented.
Add constants instead of using 0/1 and provide a selection function
which hides the additional debug dependency from the calling code.
Add comments where needed.
