Subject: upstream EXPORT_SYMBOL() for out of tree module?
Date: Thu, 9 Apr 2015 19:07:30 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20150409190730.GA31166@fifo99.com> (raw)
Hi all,
I have an out of tree module which uses the xlate_dev_mem_ptr() function on x86. I wanted to know
if the kernel community would accept a patch to add an EXPORT_SYMBOL() for this kernel with
out the corresponding module being upstreamed with it?
Thanks for any help,
Daniel
