Subject: [PATCH 4.5 056/124] ppp: take reference on channels netns
Date: Mon, 18 Apr 2016 11:28:48 +0900 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20160418022618.611840282@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20160418022615.726954227@linuxfoundation.org>
4.5-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.

From: Guillaume Nault <g.nault@alphalink.fr>
[ Upstream commit 1f461dcdd296eecedaffffc6bae2bfa90bd7eb89 ]
Let channels hold a reference on their network namespace.
Some channel types, like ppp_async and ppp_synctty, can have their
userspace controller running in a different namespace. Therefore they
can't rely on them to preclude their netns from being removed from
under them.
